What the checker is

Quote Watchdog gives an automated second opinion from reading the documents you upload. It is general information only. It is not a valuation, an inspection of any work, or legal, financial or professional advice. It can make mistakes, including misreading a document. Check anything important yourself before you rely on it.

Businesses

We don't make findings about any business. Where we show information from public registers, we link to the source so you can check it. A price view is about the quote, compared with typical prices for that kind of job; it is not a statement about the business.

Insurance

We read what an insurance certificate says. A certificate can't show whether a policy was cancelled after it was issued, so for bigger jobs confirm the cover with the insurer or broker named on it.

Fair use

The checker is free with a daily limit per person. Only upload documents you have the right to share. Don't use the site to harass or defame anyone.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for decisions you make using the checker. Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law.
